Bg 6.39

etan me saṁśayaṁ kṛṣṇa
chettum arhasy aśeṣataḥ
tvad-anyaḥ saṁśayasyāsya
chettā na hy upapadyate

Word for word:

etat — this is; me — my; saṁśayam — doubt; kṛṣṇa — O Kṛṣṇa; chettum — to dispel; arhasi — You are requested; aśeṣataḥ — completely; tvat — than You; anyaḥ — other; saṁśayasya — of the doubt; asya — this; chettā — remover; na — never; hi — certainly; upapadyate — is to be found.

Translation:

This is my doubt, O Kṛṣṇa, and I ask You to dispel it completely. But for You, no one is to be found who can destroy this doubt.

etan me saṁśayaṁ kṛṣṇa, this is my saṁśaya, this is my doubt, then chettum arhasy aśeṣataḥ, chettum, to break apart, to destroy, to dispel. Arhasy, I request you to do that. aśeṣataḥ, completely remove this doubt. Can someone else also remove this? NO. You are the supreme absolute truth and you have the highest knowledge so therefore. tvad-anyaḥ saṁśayasyāsya, apart from you this saṁśaya, chettā na hy upapadyate, there is no one who can remove this saṁśay, you are the only person who can remove it so I beg you to remove it. So these are three verse sequence which are in question format, in fact this is longest question which Arjuna has asked Sri Krishna is BG. In 10th chapter also when he request Sri Krishna to show His glories there are several questions asked by Arjuna. It is significant that Arjuna has question which is going as long as in three verses,

etan me saṁśayaṁ, this is my doubt and Krishna you alone can remove this just as it is described by Acharyas in 2.7 & 2.8. In 2.7 when Arjuna surrenders that time he says that Prichami Tvam Dharm Samodha Cheta, I ask you for what is truth then he emphasises that the intensity of request he raises by saying that actually apart from you nothing else can solve my problem, na hi prapaśyāmi…that is described in 2.8 similarly he says apart from You no one else can remove this doubt, So Srila Prabhupada says Sri Krishna is Omniscient so He is capable of answering all questions. Sri Krishna answer starts from 40 and goes on till 45 and 46 & 47 is like conclusion of the chapter.
