Now Sri Krishna will introduce two more verses with which he will introduce some terms.

Bg 7.29

jarā-maraṇa-mokṣāya
mām āśritya yatanti ye
te brahma tad viduḥ kṛtsnam
adhyātmaṁ karma cākhilam

Word for word:

jarā — from old age; maraṇa — and death; mokṣāya — for the purpose of liberation; mām — Me; āśritya — taking shelter of; yatanti — endeavor; ye — all those who; te — such persons; brahma — Brahman; tat — actually that; viduḥ — they know; kṛtsnam — everything; adhyātmam — transcendental; karma — activities; ca — also;akhilam — entirely.

Translation:

Intelligent persons who are endeavoring for liberation from old age and death take refuge in Me in devotional service. They are actually Brahman because they entirely know everything about transcendental activities.

jarā-maraṇa-mokṣāya

so those who understand the miseries of material existence jarā-maraṇa, old age and death mokṣāya, to get liberation from that, what did they do?

mām āśritya

They take shelter of Me

yatanti ye

And they start doing, they start endeavoring

So what will happen?

te brahma tad viduḥ kṛtsnam

they are actually Brahma and they know everything

adhyātmaṁ karma cākhilam

they know everything about transcendental activities.

So Sri Krishna has introduced two words over here brahma and adhyātma. And Arjuna will ask in the next verse what does it mean?

So this is another category of devotees so Sri Krishna has talked about different kinds of devotees who come to Him.

So Sri Krishna has talked about four kinds of people who approached Him

7.16: Three types of devotees are talked about Artho, Jigyasu Artharthi they are Sakama devotee they come for some material purpose

Then in

7.17-7.19: Jyana misra devotees are talked about

7.29: Is about Moksha-Kami Bhakta, so the Moksha Kami means who is aspiring for liberation

8.12: Krishna has talked about Yoga Mishra Bhaktas

So the point here is Sri Krishna is talking about different categories of devotees there are five different categories of devotees which has been talked about. Two Sakam and Two Moksha-Kami, the Moksha-Kami can be Jyan Misra but is coming primarily with intellectual conception or the person with Yoga Misra that person will be coming from the background of Yogic practice but they all come to mām āśritya, they come and surrender to Sri Krishna and they make spiritual advancement, so now Sri Krishna will introduce one more term over here so one more set of term in this verse
