na ca māṁ tāni karmāṇi
nibadhnanti dhanañ-jaya
udāsīna-vad āsīnam
asaktaṁ teṣu karmasu

Word for word:

na — never; ca — also; mām — Me; tāni — all those; karmāṇi — activities; nibadhnanti — bind; dhanamjaya — O conqueror of riches; udāsīnavat — as neutral; āsīnam — situated; asaktam — without attraction; teṣu — for those; karmasu — activities.

Translation:

O Dhanañjaya, all this work cannot bind Me. I am ever detached from all these material activities, seated as though neutral.

na ca māṁ tāni karmāṇi, actually tāni karmāṇi, all these karma which is all these actions which is done,

nibadhnanti dhanañ-jaya, this doesn’t bind Me na is coming in previous line, why it doesn’t bind Me?

Because udāsīna-vad āsīnam, udāsīna, netural, udāsīna-vad, I am situated as if neutral,

asaktaṁ teṣu karmasu, I am not attached

we have discussed earlier difference between aasakta and asakta, aasakta is attached asakta is detached

so Sri Krishna is udāsīna-vad āsīnam, Sri Krishna is detached like a judge

so material nature has its own system and it acts according to its system it is under Sri Krishna’s supervision but Sri Krishna is not having any personal agenda, Krishna doesn’t have any vendetta against someone, you defied Me therefore I will punish you, no there is law of Karma and Krishna let law of karma run its course. So Sri Krishna is saying I don’t become bound because I am udāsīna-vad.

Can Krishna culpable for the destruction of all the universes, no as it is all happening by the law of nature but someone can say that ultimately He is the one who designed such law of nature so He has setup a system but He has not forced us to get into this system like a king is not responsible for suffering jail mates similarly souls defy the God and they chose to be separated from Him and chose to this world where they suffer. So King doesn’t have any personal vendetta against the one in jail there is law those who abide by the law are protected those who defy are sent to the correction centres. Krishna is saying I am not karmically implicated because He doesn’t derive it He is udāsīna-vad, He is detached therefore na ca māṁ tāni karmāṇi, I don’t become mount by this.

Srila Prabhupada quoted the famous verse from Vedanta Sutra again Vedānta-sūtra (2.1.34) it is stated, vaiṣamya-nairghṛṇye na, He is not partial.
