Translation:

O King, as I remember the wonderful form of Lord Kṛṣṇa, I am struck with wonder more and more, and I rejoice again and again.

saṁsmṛtya saṁsmṛtya, hearing

rūpam aty-adbhutaṁ hareḥ, aty-adbhutaṁ hareḥ, this form is extraordinary, this is referred to Vishva Rupa, he is remembering the extraordinary form that Krishna has shown,

vismayo me mahān rajan, I am immensely astonished, I am wonderstruck

hṛṣyāmi ca punaḥ punaḥ, hṛṣyāmi to delight to be jubilant

People wanted to have freshness in their life newness in their life and for that they do new-new activities. But ultimately the pleasure boils down to sense pleasures OR eating, mating, sleeping and defending. So ultimately no new pleasure is available at the bodily level, there may be superficially new covering but ultimately it boils down to these sense pleasure or eating, mating…to rise above these pleasures we need to turn towards Krishna.

In Bhakti it seems we are doing same activities constantly but we get joy because of the newness of the person we are connecting because Krishna is ever fresh. Even a devotees relish darshan of Krishna for all his eternity.

hṛṣyāmi ca punaḥ punaḥ

In the same way if we remember BG it can give us thrill also.

The same message of BG has changed Arjuna but it has not changed Dhritarastra because Arjuna was submissive and Dhritarastra was inquisitive but he was attached and biased. On the other hand Sanjay was relishing and thrilled although Dhritarastra didn’t change, same way a preacher should be thrilled whatever may be the result.

So in 4.34 Pranipatena and Pariprashnena both are described.

When we are attached temporarily there is lightening of wisdom and again there will be darkness.

Our goal is not popularity or productivity it is purity. So the goal is not external result but should be inner purity if we focus too much on external result we may be dishearten and when Krishna wanted to give us inner joy we may not be there to receive it.
