etad-yonīni bhūtāni
sarvāṇīty upadhāraya
ahaṁ kṛtsnasya jagataḥ
prabhavaḥ pralayas tathā

Word for word:

etat — these two natures; yonīni — whose source of birth; bhūtāni — everything created; sarvāṇi — all; iti — thus; upadhāraya — know; aham — I; kṛtsnasya — all-inclusive; jagataḥ — of the world; prabhavaḥ — the source of manifestation; pralayaḥ — annihilation; tathā — as well as.

Translation:

All created beings have their source in these two natures. Of all that is material and all that is spiritual in this world, know for certain that I am both the origin and the dissolution.

So etad-yonīni bhūtāni, all these living beings sarvāṇīty upadhāraya, all of them.

ahaḿ kṛtsnasya jagataḥ, I am the source of it all, everything, prabhavaḥ pralayas tathā. prabhavaḥ is the origin and pralayas is annihilation, shelter of annihilation.

So everything that exist in this world is a combination of matter and spirit, and ultimately all of it comes from Me. etad-yonīni bhūtāni, this is the Yoni of everything that we see for example we may see a computer screen so computer screen is made of matter not ordinary matter but the matter which is acted upon by a soul, so likewise if we look at everything in this world is a combination of matter spirit or combination of both in various ways so Sri Krishna is giving here a reasoning to show how ultimately everything comes from Him. So these two energies come from Him and everything we see comes from these two energies or their combination therefore ultimately everything comes from Him. So in this way He is saying I am beginning of everything and end of everything,  prabhavaḥ and pralaya, prabhavaḥ is the origin and pralaya is the end. I am the beginning and end of everything, why does Sri Krishna talk about the beginning and the end over here? Subject is the glory of Sri Krishna and the glory of Sri Krishna is that He is all pervading, He is all pervading not just in terms of space not just that He exists everywhere not just in terms of time that He exists at all time, that is definitely there. But He is all pervading also in the sense that nothing exists but Him. That He is Supreme, His glory is that ultimately He is the only existence that doesn’t mean that we don’t exist but we exists as His energies. So we come from Him and we are meant for His service and His pleasure. So in that sense He is all pervasive. All exists but all is connected with the absolute truth. And in this sense all is manifestation of the absolute truth.

So as Srila Prabhupada says that Spirit is the basic field of creation, and matter is created by spirit. Spirit is the basic field of creation means spirit is what activates creation. And later clarified that matter is created by spirit.

…. The cause of the big universe is the big soul, or the Supersoul. And Krishna, the Supreme, is the cause of both the big and small souls.

So Srila Prabhupada gives example over here: A small child may create a toy, a big child, a person create a sky scraper but ultimately what we have is a combination of matter and spirit. So the body we have is activated because of the soul and that Supreme Soul, is the activator, the maintainer and end destination of the whole universe, so when we talk about Super Soul, super soul can be talked about in three ways. Ksirodakasayi Vishnu is the super soul of the body of the living entity, the Garbhodakasayi Vishnu is the super soul of the universe, and Maha Vishnu or Karanodaksayi Vishnu is the super soul of the Mahat Tattva. And Srila Prabhupada quotes the famous quotes from Kato-Upanishad, Nityo Nityanam Chaitnas Chaitnanam Eko Bhunam Yud Dadhati Kaman, there is one special living entity who is different from all other living entities who are also conscious and who are also eternal, what is the specialty of this entity, this entity is actually Eko Bhunam Yud Dadhti Kaman, is the maintainer of everyone. So in this world everything comes from Sri Krishna and everything returns to Sri Krishna. There are phases of expansion sometimes a person may have collapsible stick when the person is walking he can have long stick, sometimes Sanyasis also have collapsible Dandas as they are travelling in plane so they don’t allow this Danda. So it is big but can be made small and carry in pocket also, so like that creation unfolds from Sri Krishna, unfolding of creation is talked about in 3rd canto of Srimad Bhagavatam, several places, actually it is talked about emergence

of one element from another element but ultimately everything comes from Sri Krishna that is the eternal truth.
