yac cāpi sarva-bhūtānāṁ, for all living beings I am the Bija

bījaṁ tad aham Arjuna, I am the seed for all living beings

na tad asti vinā yat syān, that without mayā bhūtaṁ carācaram, without Me nothing can exist.

Earlier we have discussed in 7th & 9th Chapter that Krishna is source and sustainer of everything, now Krishna is reiterating that.

In the beginning of this section, Pradhana Sreshta… He said I am going to speak only on main opulences.

When Krishna said that His vibhuti is like shark in fishes that doesn’t mean that Krishna doesn’t have affection towards other fishes or living being that simply means that the attractive feature in Shark is an opulence of Krishna so Krishna clarifies in this verse that actually everything is sustained by Me. Not only I am source of everything but also the sustainer of everything. Even His Vibhutis are endless.
